Deep Dish (Crustless) Pizza



Anyone that knows me knows I have a huge weakness for pizza. All kinds of pizza! Heck, I lived off Little Caesars 5$ hot and ready s in college. . . yet another reason for the weight gain! So while on this diet I have been experimenting with different ways to create the feeling of pizza night. This recipe is one of my favorites! The recipe can be changed to fit your taste and is super simple. You pretty much layer all of your favorite toppings in a oven safe container and bake at 400 degrees for about 15-20 min. and boom! Dinner is served! Tonight I decided to go with a meat lovers style pizza which had ham, ground beef, and pepperoni my veggies were onion, red pepper, and a couple banana peppers.

Deep Dish (Crust less) Pizza 


8 slices of ham. I used Kentucky legend and found one with 0 carbs

1 lb cooked and crumbled ground beef (no seasoning)

4 slices provolone cheese

¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 sm. onion diced

1 red onion diced

2 banana peppers diced

2-3 tbs cup tomato sauce

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Lay down 4 of the ham slices in your pan. It’s ok if they overlap a bit Spread half of the tomato sauce on the ham. Top  the pizza sauce with half of the ground beef and veggies. sprinkle Italian seasoning on top. Top with half of each of the cheeses. Repeat with the second layer and top with the rest of the cheese. Sprinkle with the rest of the Italian seasoning. Bake in the oven until everything is melded together, about 15-20 minutes. Broil for the last minute or two of cooking for a nicely browned top.

I also added some pepperoni on top 🙂

    This sounds really good I will have to try it but change up some of the ingredients, I am a diabetic so I have to watch my carb intake
